Kenneth Coffing

On the beautiful morning of Tuesday, January 8, 2019, the Lord called Kenneth Coffing home.  Kenneth was 65 years old and was originally from Logansport, Indiana until he moved to South Pittsburg, Tennessee in 2009.    Kenneth was of the Baptist faith and he attended church at Sequatchie Mountain Baptist Church.

Kenneth’s loved his family and friends; loved his dogs, he loved life along with fishing and camp fires.    His heart was huge and he loved anything and anyone that came across his path.  Kenneth knew his Lord and Savior and loved to share his life with loved ones. For the past 21 years, Kenneth and his soul mate, Angela shared all their dreams, accomplishments and wonderful times side by side.   Kenneth would say “I can’t do life without my Angela”.

He is preceded in death by his father; William “Bill” Coffing and his mother; Lucile Coffing; first wife, Betty Coffing.

Those to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Angela Coffing; sons, Greg Turpin (LeAnn); Wade Crouch (Brandy); Shane Crouch, and Brett Miller; daughter, Lori Rust (Danny); brother, Danny Coffing (Diane); sisters, Kathy Coffing and Mary Jane Conn (Roger); special daughter in law, Jennifer Savini (Nick) and brother in law, Jimmy Pruitt (Robin).   He will leave behind 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitations for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 and Friday, January 11th, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. CST to 8:00 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Tate Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12th, 2019.  Pastor Doug Carpenter will officiate the services.

Kenneth will be laid to rest at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately after the funeral service.
