James "Rob" Owens

James "Rob" Owens, 77, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2018.

Rob was a member of Pine Sett Baptist Church and a retired member of Local 917 Operating Engineers and was retired from Ever Heart Steel Construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Owens and Janie Bell Bible; son James “Dickie” Owens Jr.; son-in-law Charles T. “Whistle” Wilson; brothers Kenneth Owens and Oscar Owens &  David Owens; sisters Rebecca Cagle, Emma Jane Anderson & Mary White;

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Debra (Kenneth) Wilson Green & Carol Owens; sister Rose Dawson; grandchildren Samantha (Sean) Wakefield, Scott (Kirstie) Wilson , Tyler Walker, Matthew May, Alyson (Ryan) Smith & Hanna Leamon; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CST with Bro. Eddie Meeks officiating.

Interment will follow at Gilliam Cemetery.
