JESSIE LEE LONG

The Lord called Jessie Lee Long home on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 at the age of 65 years old.   Jessie was from the Cartwright, Tennessee area.   

He had been employed with Chattanooga Coke and Chemical before he began a career as a farmer at Wagner’s Farm.  Jessie loved farming however his cherished memories were hunting and fishing.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rosa Long along with several siblings.

Those to carry on his memories are his brother, Rayford (Devota) Long; sisters, Ima Gean Pyburn, Ruth Smith and Shirley Schmook along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Tate Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 21st, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. CST.

Jessie will be laid to rest at Cookston Cemetery in Dunlap, Tennessee.
