Geraldine L Sisk

The sweet morning of Thursday, January 3rd, 2019, Geraldine Lyle Sisk at the age of 78, of Jasper, Tennessee, was united in heaven with her precious Lord and Savior along with her son, Randy Sisk.

Geraldine was of the Church of God faith and was a member of The Refuge Church of God in Kimball, Tennessee.   Geraldine was a superior woman in everyone’s eyes with the strength, compassion, determination and will to live to her family and friends.     As she would tell you “I love my family and friends and each know where they stand with me”.   The love was mutual to all that met this amazing woman.     Geraldine had the love for softball and was an amazing player in her younger years.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Estelle Dixon Lyle; brothers, Melvin and Joe Lyle; son, Randy Sisk and grandchildren; JD Sisk, Brandon and Landon Shirley.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 62 years, Clarence (Johnny) Sisk, Sr.; brother, James (Jimmy) (Cathy) Lyle; sisters, Linda (Kenneth) Meeks, and Wanda (John) Lyle Estes; sons, Johnny ( Sherri ) Sisk and Jackie Sisk; daughter, Janice (Jan) (Barry) Shirley; grandchildren, Ashley (James) Keeler, Darcy (Jeff) Warwick; Derek (Molly) Sisk, Tyler (Jessica) Shirley along with 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 from 12:00 noon CST until 8:00 pm CST and Sunday, January 6th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee. 

Brother Doyle Chamblee and Brother Michael Shrum will officiate the funeral services at Tate Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at 2:00 pm CST. 

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens, Jasper, Tennessee.
