Frances N Green Black, 91, of Chattanooga, Tn. passed away  Friday, October 19, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her father Albert Francis Green and mother Oma Hicks Green; husband John Black; son Edwin Taylor; sisters Esther Poi and Bonnie Lee.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son Garry A Taylor(Faith); daughter Glenda P McGuirt(Thomas); brother Claude Green; sisters Kathleen Chang and Faye Sprowles(Cameron); grandchildren Alan McGuirt(Kris), Andrea McGuirt, Aaron McGuirt(Dana); Garry Taylor, Jr.(Julie), Joy Taylor Smith(Mike); William Taylor(Shana).

The family of Ms. Black would like to say a note of special thanks to Hickory Valley Retirement Center of Chattanooga, TN and Life Care Centers of America in Ooltewah, TN for demonstrating such loving care for their mom.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 12:00 pm CST/1:00 pm EST at Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas McGuirt officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 22 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm CST/ 11:00 am EST to 1:00 pm EST prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Garden.
