Forrest Stewart

Forrest Stewart, 85, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Forrest was born February 14, 1933 to the late Thomas Stewart and Nettie Mae Roddy Stewart from Kimball, TN.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in South Pittsburg, TN.

He was preceded in death by brothers Richard Stewart, Paul Stewart and Stratton Stewart; sister Genevieve Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years Josephine Stewart; son Douglas (Michelle) Stewart; daughters Cindy (Larry) Lockhart, Brenda (Jim) Rich, and Patricia Coleman; sister Rena Mae (Don) Ellis; 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. CST with Minister Ron Gilbert officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
