Cornelia Shoffner Allender White, 97, “Mama Connie” has joined her Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

She was a faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She loved her family and friends deeply and enjoyed a good canasta card game. She loved quilting too.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allender, and second husband, Monterey White; father, George W. Shoffner; mother, Louverne Edwards; brother, Cleatis Shoffner; sister, Willie White.

She is survived by her son, George (Brenda) Allender; daughter, Karen (Ray) Beene; five grandchildren, David Allender E. Ridge, Chris(Tracie)Allender, Jimmy(Lynn)Shelton, Lori(Jonathan) Shoemaker, John Martin all of Jasper.  Five great grandchildren, Jake and Jared Allender, Meghan and Mason Shelton, Cayson Dunn.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 from 12:00 PM CST to 3:00 PM CST at Tate Funeral Home.

The funeral will be Tuesday, January 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM CST in the chapel of the funeral home.
