Charles "Ken" Kenneth Scissom

Charles “Ken” Scissom, 81, of New Hope TN, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

Ken was a retired Foreman of Signal Mountain Cement Plant.

He was preceded in death by his parents Horace & Maudie Scissom; siblings Stanley Scissom, Judy Ezell, Freddie Scissom, Linda Scissom.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years Carolyn Blevins Scissom; children Tammy (Rick) Morrison, Pam(Jim) Ramsey, Bobby (April) Scissom, Tina (Lewy) Griffith, Tonia (Shane) Troy, Tara (John) Sells; siblings Bill 0Scissom, Gloria Condra, Joe (Wanda) Scissom; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; he also leaves behind best canine friend, Buddy.

Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Decemeber 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. CST with Chaplin Jack Nichols.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family ask to please make donations to Home Health Care of East T, Inc. and Hospice  or The Alzheimer's Association.

The family would like to thank Debra Reynolds , Misty Giles, Jack Nichols, Shana Troy and Hospice of East TN for all their love and care they provided .
