Billy B Moore

William Robert "Billy Bob" Moore was born on March 7, 1937 to the late Wallace and Lucille Fields Moore.  He passed peacefully into eternity on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his home.

Billy Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; George, Dallas, and Frank Moore; sisters, Mariah Beene, Bennie Harrison and Annie Ford; special nephew, George Moore, Jr.; and son-in-law, Frank Hayes.

He was a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg, Tennessee where he attended McReynolds High School.  He enlisted into the United States Air Force.  When he finished serving his country, Billy Bob earned a certificate in Heavy Equipment Operating at Chattanooga State.  He retired from TVA Widows Creek Steam Plant after 29 years as a Supervisor of Heavy Equipment Operations.

He loved spending time with his family, his dogs, tinkering with cars, hunting, fishing and sports.  Billy Bob was a master storyteller and loved sharing stories with all who crossed his path.  Whenever he met a stranger, they always parted as friends.

Billy Bob is survived by a devoted and loving family, Wife of 60 years, Vivian Moore; children, Janice Hayes, Paula Moore, James "Mack" Moore, Carla (Tyrone) Robinson, and Karen Moore; grandchildren, Kevin Hayes, Jennifer Hayes, Amaris Avant, William Moore, Tyrone Robinson, Andrea Boyer, David "DJ" Robinson, Ryan Moore, Andrew Moore, Aaron Robinson, Kristyn Robinson, Jalen Moore and Kayla Robinson; 2 great grandchildren; special niece, Wendy Moore; brother-in-law, Alva McCarver; sister-in-law, Geri Moore; close friends, Ray Vazquez, Ro Adams, Rance Castle, Jr., and Roger Ford;  in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
