BETTY RUTH CAMPBELL
The angels sang as Betty Ruth Campbell was delivered home on Thursday, April 11, 2019. Betty was at the beautiful age of 85 years young. She was born in Ider, Alabama and then moved to South Pittsburg, Tennessee. She had a career working at various hosiery mills in the surrounding area.
Betty was classified as “OCD” in everything she did. Her family stated her home was spotless, her yard was fabulous and her love of flowers showed in her gardens. She was always a hard worker however she always made time to placing her Lord, her children and grandchildren first in her life. She was a lady of spunk and sweet personality. She was loved by all those that touched her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Ruby Farmer; her husband, Charles E. Campbell and son, Donald Campbell.
The loved ones to carry on her memories are her sons, Richard and Rodney Campbell; daughter, Char (James Holden) Parker; five grandchildren, Charles (Bridget) Parker; Shannon Parker, Lamar Campbell, Casey (Linda) Campbell and Kelly Palma; along with several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive guest at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CDT and Sunday, April 14th, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm CDT.
Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Tate Funeral Home at 3:00 pm CDT.
Betty will be laid to rest by her husband at New Hope Cemetery following the funeral services.
