At the dawn on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 the Lord called Betty Ann Cagle Easterly, at the age of 63, home to be with her Savior. Betty was born on April 3, 1956 in Bridgeport, AL and raised in the community. After marrying her true love, Franklyn Easterly, they lived in Bridgeport until 27 years ago when they made their final home in Whitwell, Tennessee.
Betty was a lovely lady that enjoyed gardening and canning however most of all her favorite hobby was fishing. She loved her puppies and her favorite flower were yellow roses Betty was loved by her family, friends and the community. Her soul will be missed greatly by all that knew this amazing lady. She was of the Church of God faith and a loyal member to the South Pittsburg Church of God in South Pittsburg, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John “Pete” and Mary Cagle and brother, John Cagle.
Her memories will be cherished by her loving husband, Dwight Franklyn Easterly; daughter, Kathy Copeland; stepson, Baron Easterly; brothers, Charlie Lynn Cagle (Brenda) and George W. Cagle; sister, Della Grey; grandchildren, Taylor Shrum, Kaitlyn Pittman, Danielle Copeland, Shea Ables and Trevor Easterly; great grandchildren, Rylee and Dravin; special nephew, David Adams (Tina); special niece, Jamie Lynn Smith along with a host of other nieces, nephews and lovely friends.
The family will have visitation at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm CDT and Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon CDT.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 at 12:00 noon CDT in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Roger Webb officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Rogers Cemetery in Dunlap, TN.
