LILLIE BELLE PEARSON

Lillie Belle Pearson, 84, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, was called home on February 25, 2024. She was born to the late Henry Reynolds and Kate Trussell Reynolds on January 11, 1940. Lillie enjoyed doing pottery, crafts, and was an excellent seamstress for her family and for others. She also made and donated masks during covid for Richard Hardy Memorial School students. She was handy around the house; she also owned and operated her own business re-upholstering furniture. Lillie fostered three children of her own. She was a very caring and nurturing person and loved spending time with her family and helping others.

She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Reynolds; mother, Kate Trussell Reynolds; husband, John Pearson; brothers, James Reynolds, Willian Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Henry Reynolds, Jr.; sisters, Jenny Mae Dalton, Virginia Kilgore, Bobbie Case, Bernice Layne and Carolyn Layne; grandchild, Noah Pittman.

Lillie leaves her memories to her son, Tim Hood; daughter, Mary (Richard) Jernigan; brother, Fred (Mamie) Reynolds; sisters, Barbara (Clifford) Anderson and Mary Lovelace.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Randy Dodson officiating.

Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee

Pallbearers are Jonjon Bohannon, T. J. Bohannon, Arland Matthews, Trevor Barnes, Brian Wooten and John Miller.
