JOAN CHARLENE MORELAND

Joan Charlene Moreland, 69, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 7, 2024.  On December 2, 1954, she was born to the late James Leroy Moreland and Pauline Dagnan Moreland.  Joan was of the Church of God faith and was a Waitress for Waffle House.  She enjoyed reading, cooking and her flowers.  Joan was very kindhearted and was always thinking of others first.  Joan had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

Joan is preceded in death by her father, James Leroy Moreland; mother, Pauline Dagnan Moreland; son, Davy Graham; brothers, Donnie Moreland, Sr., Jimmy Moreland and sister, Jan Moreland.

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Judy Pittman; grandson, Ryver Graham; nieces and nephews, Sherri (Greg) Blevins, Donnie (LeAnn) Moreland, Jr., Jerry (Tara) Pittman, Jr., Mark (Cheri) Moreland, Stevie Beene, (Shelle) Michelle (Alan) Foshee; several great and great-great nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Jerry Pittman, Jr. and Donnie Moreland, Jr. officiating.
